Medical and Browning Family Exhibitions

The Medical and Browning Family exhibitions have been launched and will be on display until the end of June. The first exhibition showcases our large medical collection and visitors can have a go at guessing the different uses of some of these interesting looking items that might make you go ahhhh!!

The second exhibition highlights the Browning family a local Gainsborough family focusing on Arthur Browning and his invention of the coin rejector, an example is on display in the exhibition. There is also a collection of possessions belonging to Herbert Browning who served in the Lincolnshire Regiment including his medals and personal documents.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays and from 11am to 4pm on Sundays. For more information about these new exhibitions please visit our latest blog post here…
