The Mayflower II Story

Please note the Centre and Telephone Exchange Tearoom is currently closed until further notice due to the current outbreak of COVID 19/Coronavirus.

The new exhibition tells the true story of the Englishmen who gave Mayflower II to America. This year, in 2020 this tiny wooden sailing ship is the focus for millions of us on both sides of the Atlantic as we mark the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the original ship on the shores of America.

The star attraction for these celebrations will be the replica built by Warwick Charlton and with the assistance of his family, the Heritage Centre is telling that story in this new exhibition that opens at the end of January and runs until 5 May 2020.

If you would like to arrange a group visit to see this new exhibition then please contact the Heritage Centre on 01427 610526.
