Gainsborough Heritage Centre is located in the Old Post Office at 12 North Street, Gainsborough, DN21 2HS and situated on the corner of North Street and Spital Terrace, almost opposite the Gainsborough Methodist Church and KFC.

There is a large pay and display car park in North Street immediately behind Gainsborough Heritage Centre and another in Roseway across the road from the Centre behind the Methodist Church.

The nearest railway station is Gainsborough Lea Road (National Rail code GBL).  Lea Road station is approximately a 20 minute walk from the station to Gainsborough Heritage Centre. Plan your journey on the National Rail website.
