Gainsborough continues to increase its profile in the world of heritage this September when some of our attractions feature in the Heritage Open Days Festival for Lincolnshire. This festival takes place from 10th-19th September and has run for decades across the whole of the United Kingdom. It features on many peoples calendars as the week when they can get into some chargeable heritage sites for FREE or explore hidden heritage in locations that are not normally open to the public! The booklet which lists all attractions which are taking part in Lincolnshire is available to collect from public libraries or can be ordered or downloaded from Heritage Lincolnshire’s website.
